Heraldry is the science that studies the origins, evolution and meaning of institutional symbols, based on traditions and values associated with the organizations. Here we present the Standards and Heraldic Guidons that represent the different Fuzileiros Units.

Heraldic Standard of the Fuzileiros Corp Command

Divided into four parts by silver and blue diagonal cuts, with a cross of Saint Jorge present and the coat of arms involved with golden laurel leaves, with the inscription in dark capital letters “CORPO DE FUZILEIROS” (FUZILEIROS CORP).

Heraldic Standard of the Fuzileiros School

Divided by gold and red features, with a four point star present in gold and blue, with the coat of arms present on top and the inscription “ESCOLA DE FUZILEIROS” (FUZILEIROS SCHOOL). Also with golden ribbons and cord and a silver stem and spearhead.

Heraldic Standard of the Instruction Battalion

With 20 features of gold and red with 2 blue Saint Jorge crosses with the coat of arms presents and the inscription “BATALHÃO DE INSTRUÇÃO” (INSTRUCTION BATTALION). Also with golden ribbons and cord and a silver stem and spearhead.

Heraldic Standard of the Fuzileiros Batallion Nº1

With 20 features of silver and blue with 2 red Saint Jorge crosses, with the coat of arms present involved with golden laurel leaves, and the inscription “BATALHÃO DE FUZILEIROS Nº1”(FUZILEIROS BATTALION Nº1). Also with golden ribbons and cord and a silver stem and spearhead

Heraldic Standard of the Fuzileiros Batallion Nº2

With 20 features of silver and blue with 2 red Saint Jorge crosses, with the coat of arms present involved with golden laurel leaves, and the inscription “BATALHÃO DE FUZILEIROS Nº2”(FUZILEIROS BATTALION Nº2). Also with golden ribbons and cord and a silver stem and spearhead.

Heraldic Standard of the Special Actions Detachment

With silver and blue features and a red tip with a sword wielding right arm all in silver, with golden seams and the corners filled with the capital letters “DAE”. Also with silver and blues cords and a silver stem and spearhead.
