​​The Fuzileiros Forces are ready, trained and organized for Force Projection Missions, International Missions, Humanitarian Aid Missions, and Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations.

Each Fuzileiros Force has its missions well-defined and trained, being one of the Forces more focused on combat operations and the other on humanitarian aid operations, however both are ready to perform the same type of operations.

Publicly known information, demonstrates well the capabilities and operational employment of this Fuzileiros Forces. One of the Forces is more focused on Cooperation Safety International Missions (e.g. Bosnia-Herzegovina, Timor-Leste, Afghanistan and more recently Lithuania) while the other Force is more focused on Aid and Evacuation Operations, having most recently integrated the Portuguese Support Force to the population of Mozambique in the aftermath of the Cyclone “Idai”.

The Fuzileiros Forces are extremely robust, well equipped and highly effective elite teams, gifted with high adaptation skills and readiness for the successful accomplishment of any and all missions.
